Vintage Fruit Jewelry

Below are some wonderful examples of fruit jewelry. Some fruit is studded with rhinestones, some is made of wood and others are made of Bakelite. There is even a pair of wooden fruit dress clips attributed to Miriam Haskell.

This clip with hand painted or stained, carved wooden beads with green glass beads has all the characteristics of Miriam Haskell WWII dress clips with the plastic perforated backing, all pieces wired on, and the typical Haskell clipback mechanism. width: 2-1/8", height: 2-1/8"

Java jag! c. 1940's cocoa bean pin with green painted and stained leaves and brown painted cocoa beans hanging on machine stamped links from a green bar. length: 2-1/2", width: 1-1/2"wood bracelet

c. 1930 to 1940's pin with five reddish-brown over-dyed Bakelite coconuts hanging on gimp from deeply carved over-dyed green palm leaves. In very good condition with only slight wear to the original gimp strings. Original riveted pin back with c-clasp. Each nut is approximately 1" tall. length: 3-1/2", width: 2-1/4"

Original by Robert Apple Pin. Bright red enameled apple pin with green enameled leaves and stem on a gold-tone base. This adorable pin features a little worm coming out of the apple (must be full!).
