This is a fabulous, museum quality, early Victorian hand carved Greco-Roman carnelian helmet shell cameo bezel set in a gold-filled frame with an applied twisted rope design. Notice the detail in the flowers falling from her head, the tendrils in her locks, and the blush in her face and chest.
