Edwardian Platinum, Ruby and Diamond Ring
The top of the custom lab created ruby is cut in three concentric graduated steps; the underside of the stone has 16 facets which taper to a point at the center thus allowing the light to flicker in and out of the pierced work on all sides of the diamond-studded platinum setting. This is a truly spectacular ring.
A lab created stone's mineral composition is chemically the same as a natural gemstone.
Surrounding the ruby on the flat sides are bead set, round brilliant diamonds with some filigree work with milgrain edges.

The eighty-four (84) diamonds measure from 1.0mm to 1.75 mm. There are two (2) diamonds that measure approximately 2.75mm each. Approximate total diamond weight is 1.26 carats. Diamond color ranges form G-H and clarity ranges from SI1 to SI2. The shank is hand engraved and pierced with a scrolled wire under gallery. |
